The M1 Pro CPU in this machine is a beast. It’s obvious when you first use it since apps launch instantly. It has a 10-core CPU, 8 performance cores, 2 efficiency cores, 32GB of RAM, and a 16-core graphics processor. And we’d be negligent if we didn’t highlight that software compatibility is still an issue for all M1 Macs. While many effective programs now run natively on M1 Macs, not all of their features are available, so bear that in mind before leaping.
Because the MacBook Pro is so fast, the performance hit from non-native programs (about 20%) isn’t apparent. As a result, it continues to outperform its rivals.
